Kenda's Pool Party

So, Kenda decided to have a pool party at our house because we live next to a great swimming pool. We bought pool party invitations, beach balls, floaties etc. The pool had been under constuction but they finished it a few weeks before her scheduled party and filled it up. The water had a green tint to it but the gardener assured us that it was normal. They shocked the pool the next day and when we woke up, it was brown......really brown. This is not the dingy greenish brown that you are thinking. This is poop brown. After a week of filtering, the water was bordering on greenish brown, but still closer to the poop color....and far from crystal blue swimming pool colors.

So, the day before the party, we decide our only option is to change the party to the beach at Bananarama. So much for all my planning for the perfect pool party. We ended up hauling all the supplies to the resort and having it there.
