Moments to remember

This post has no pictures, so I am going to draw you a mental picture of Sunday a few weeks back. Let me set the stage a bit. We were not in Roosevelt the first Sunday in Jan when the kids switched primary classes. The first Sunday we were back, we dropped Gabe off at his new primary class (his first time not in nursery) and headed to teach our 11 year old class. Louis was teaching and Journey began to fuss. I opened the classroom door to take her out and there, before my eyes is the bishop of our ward sprinting down the hallway..... chasing my sweet son...... who is also sprinting down the hallway. It took me a few moments to understand what was happening. Finally I understand that Gabe has escaped from sharing time and the poor bishop is trying to rein him in and get him to return. I step out into the hall and thank the bishop and say "Gabe, what are you doing!" He replies (much too loudly) "I dont like that man. He scares me!" Yes, the bishop heard. We have a very cool bishop and I am grateful that he doesn't take offense easily. Gabe went sullenly back to sharing time and sat next to the bishop for the rest of primary. Hopefully he gets more used to primary and does better next week. I would hate to have the bishop running down the hall week after week trying to keep our little terror in class!
