Our Talented Grandma Sweets

A few weeks ago, Grandma pulled out a very big bin of fabric and let the girls go through and pick their favorites. Makiah had several....and I do mean several favorites. Kenda was able to find her favorite 4 patterns pretty quickly but Kiah just could not decide between them. Finally the decision was made and she gave Grandma the favorite 4. When we arrived the next morning at her house, Kiah said "where is my blanket? You told me you would make it for me." I can tell you it is very hard to explain to a 3 year old that blankets take time. So every day Kiah would come to Grandma's house and almost the first thing she would ask about is the progress on the blanket. Needless to say, the blanket was completed in less than a week. Then shortly behind that was came Kenda's blanket. They are absolutely beautiful!!

Kenda and Kiah were very excited to show everyone the special blankets Grandma made them. Kiah wanted me to add this picture of her and Gabe to the blog tonight so he was not left out of the pictures.

Louis St Louis!! I finally found you!! You left a comment on our blog forever ago but apparently you are supposed to invite us to your blog-it wouldn't let us in!! Well, I got sneaky-I found Grant and Liz' blog and jumped from theirs! ahh, I feel fulfilled figuring out how to get here...so anyway!

Your children are soooo cute!! I didn't read all the posts so it might be there but when are you guys coming back to the USA? And where will you be settling? Hopefully we will catch up with your family sometime. We are in the middle of Cory's schooling and internship starting in April so we are excited and crazy busy so keep in touch!!
