A few FHE's

OK so I am a complete slacker this month. The truth is that it has been really slow business wise here, but that means that it really is time to do other projects that I have been putting off for awhile now. As a result I have fallen a couple of weeks behind on the blog which I promised myself I would keep up.

So here is a couple of pictures from our family home evenings (FHE) that we had over the last couple of weeks. This one is where we had the kids build a church together. We had a great lesson on why we are reverant and what the purpose of church is. It is difficult for the kids here to really appreciate church as it is entirely in spanish. We struggle too, but our family has found the importance of activities outside of the church during the time we have been here in Roatan. Such as this lesson on churches:)
I am pretty sure that Kiah has my smile. Time will tell:) In case you are wondering about the grass colors... AKA sugar sprinkles. Kenda wanted her side of the grass to be green, while Kiah insisted that her grass needed to be purple. (I think it has been awhile since she has seen real grass)This was a lesson we had last week on the sword of laban and the decisions we make in life. We were hoping to beable to pick the swords up off of the pan, but it did not work. The dough is a cinimmon roll recipe and in the picture the kids are covering the dough with sugar and cinammon:) It was a great treat:)

Oh my gosh, I feel like such a dummy! I didn't realize you all had a blog! I just figured it out with the comment you posted on ellie's blog about the hot chocolate. I think you may have even commented on my blog but I thought it was my aunt louise who's nickname is lou. Your kids are so grown up, they are beautiful! I look forward to checking out your blog more often!
