Happy Birthday Gabriel

As family tradition in our house goes, this is Gabriel's first birthday cake w/out any candles of course.
We thought it would also be good to show some of the other smiles with Gabriel. This is Bernadette, who is our mid-wife. She is/was amazing. I would highly reccommend her to anyone having a baby here on Roatan.
Here is the baby's first bath. He was not such a fan until he was actually in the water. Then I think he felt it was just like home, but with more room. This is Makiah when the first time she was able to hold the new baby. Her response upon walking out of her bedroom and into ours was "Lem me hol my bebe broder".
This is Kenda holding baby Gabriel for the first time. Her response was a little bit different. Upon walking out of the bedroom she said "Mom what do you have in your arms?" to which we replied "its your baby brother Gabriel" at which point she asked "well how did he get there?"

It is so fun having two girls with a baby boy. My girls totally love on Jack and want to hold him and play with him all the time. He thinks they are pretty funny too. Miss you guys

I'll keep that midwife in mind the next time I have a baby in Roatan. Seems pretty likely.
