Honduran Halloween
Here is our Halloween gourd. I know that normaly pumpkins are supposed to be orange, but this one is actually brown with a black/green inside. It was very hard to cut as it just splits every where! After some hard work we finally figured it out, but donated our other gourds to others who were in need of a challenging evening:)

Dancing princesses
Kenda and Kiah's most watched show is "12 dancing princesses". Which I personally feel is fantastic, until they start looking for prince. I know that I should be the first one that they think of, but the reality is that they try to pull poor Gabe off the couch and then into pieces fighting over who gets to be their prince. I then occasionally I have the opportunity to convince them I can actually dance and swirl them around until they think I can:) Here is a picture of each of the girls on a day that I convinced them that I could dance.
Tagged
I would like to thank our good friend Ellie for Tagging me on this one. It is the 6th picture in your 6th picture file. Sorry I have been dragging my feet on the blog lately. I have been trying to get my wife hooked so I can hop of the hook:) This picture of was of Kiah on her 1st birthday. At the time we were living in one of the resort rooms waiting for the purchase of the resort to go through (for 45 days). In the room was me, Jamie, Kenda, Kiah and my mom. It is always a period of my life that I can look back and laugh at. It rained and flooded almost everyday of the time we were in that room. We were absolutely crazy. We tried to make living in a hotel room as much fun for the kids as possible, but in the end it is still 5 people living in a small room with 2 queen beds.

I would like to tag Colbs, Jess, Da, Miranie and Amy. I realize that a couple of these individuals have also been somewhat slacking on the blog lately and will be interested in seeing how long it takes them to put their picture up. Thanks for the tag Ellie and all the good memories of this event coming back:)

Our Island Princess
Hello friends. I am addicted to hacking now. In learning to use Picasa, I have become fascinated with how to take un-posed pictures. Kiah was sitting out in the water in the middle of our yard yesterday during a rainy season flood and looked so cute. It is just like her to be wearing her "hand-wash only" princess dress while covering herself with sand in our mud pit. She tries so hard to be feminine and girly like Kenda. She enjoys makeup and jewelry, but when it comes down to it, her favorite things are the bugs, crabs, dirt, and anything classified as things she is not supposed to get in to. Maybe it is just a stage or maybe, no matter what, she will always be our tom-boy princess.

hello from the wife!!
I hacked into Louis's account and decided it would be fun to put my own little section on "his" blog spot. Jess, my sister, introduced me to Picasa, a free download where you can fix and edit all of your pictures. As I am definately not a very great picture taker, I was very excited to know this option existed. I have been playing around with it for a week or so and got some great pictures of the kids. With the right tools, a few of my pictures really looked great. So...without any further explaination, I am stealing a spot on Lou's blog to show you what a cute family I have. Now I just have to figure out how to use his blog features...which seems to be harder than using Picasa. I give Louis credit for putting a blog together. I am having a hard time navigating this whole program!!
